The primary purpose of our library is to provide resources to the congregation and all of its constituents, from the very young to our elders. We offer materials which celebrate our faith tradition;
expand our understandings and knowledge; challenge us to grow in our personal and collective spiritual journeys, while honoring the virtues we value as followers of Christ: those of love, encouragement, inspiration, appreciation for diversity, wisdom, insight, humor and hope.
The church library is open whenever the church building is open. The books are located in the large open area of the lower level adjacent to the Sunday School rooms.
A computerized card catalogue is being developed and will be open to public use. Checking out books is done on the honor system. Cards in the books are simply filled out (with the borrower's name/phone number and the date the book was borrowed) and placed in a basket. Books are returned to a basket in the library and shelved by volunteers.
For easier access, some of the books are also made available in the Fellowship hall between the hours of 8:15 A.M. and 12:15 P.M. on Sundays.
