Evening Adult Class for Epiphany


Description: What are our civic responsibilities as disciples of Jesus? In this six-session study, we will explore the concepts of covenant, community, and the common good. Turning to global society, we will examine the impact of Christian teachings on economics, health, ecology, and security. Together and independently, we will also reflect on how we can further grow as faithful citizens.  Taught by Rev. Dr. Dana K. Horrell (co-author of the curriculum, published by Westminster John Knox Press.)


Time: 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. 
Location: The Coke Room, downstairs at FUMC

 

Class will be held:

(Thursday) 1/24

(Wednesday) 1/30, 2/13 & 2/20

(Thursday) 2/28.
