Beginning our 178th year of ministry in the city of Oneonta
If you're searching for a caring community of faith, progressive in its theology and liberal in its social positions, then you've come to the right place! First United Methodist is alive and growing with many opportunities for you and your family. We are a member congregation of the Reconciling Ministries Network, a Covenant Church of Habitat for Humanity, and the home of Saturday's Bread. We offer opportunity to give expression to faith through the arts, music and community service.
We offer to share our journey in faith with you, discovering the ever-new ways in which God is at work in our lives, our place, and our time. We invite you to attend and participate in our worship, study and ministry. You are welcome to contact us by phone (607-432-4102) or e-mail if we can be of service to you. When we meet, please let us know if you found us here on line.
