Our Pastor
Rev. Thomas A. Clemow, BA, MDiv., was appointed pastor of First United Methodist Church in July of 2003. Tom is a graduate of the State University College at Oneonta, and Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, D.C. He has served the church for forty years as pastor, Conference Council of Ministries Director, and District Superintendent. He has a passion for the ministries of inclusion and social justice. Married to Linda (our Arts in Ministries Coordinator), they are the parents of three children.
Tom currently serves as the Chairperson of the Wyoming Annual Conference's Commission on Communications, is a national commissioner for the denomination's General Commission on Communication, a member of the Northeastern Jurisdictional Interim Ministry Training Team, and locally a Board Member of Opportunities for Otsego, and Koinonia Campus Ministry. He previously served as an affiliate president and as a member of the national board of directors of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc.
