| Saturday's Bread
Saturday's Bread is a hot meal program provided without cost to anyone who would like to share it. We have served a meal every Saturday since May 1992. Serving time is 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. every Saturday at 66 Chestnut Street, Oneonta.
Volunteers for Saturday are always needed, but need to call ahead to be put on the schedule.
Individuals please call Laurie at 432-9273. Groups of 10-15 volunteers call Harriet at (607) 432-0131. To volunteer to run the dishwasher call Cheryl at (607) 432-2673. To cook, call Nancy at 432-0803. Cooking hours are from 7:30 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
 Saturday volunteers (besides the cook) are required to arrive by 9:30 A.M. and stay until clean-up, which is usually before 2:00 P.M. Volunteers may be asked to wait tables, bus tables, make salad, sandwiches, cut desserts, work at the take-out table, serve on the buffet line, scrub pots, etc.
Volunteers are also needed on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to noon. These volunteers are needed for the preparation of the meal. You do not need to call ahead to help out on Fridays - just show up!
